• The Future of Registries and Traceability: According to Dr. Lord, the pursuit of registries and traceability could transform into a sizeable movement, with licensing becoming a significant business focus.
• AI in Healthcare and Life Sciences: The healthcare and life sciences sectors stand to gain substantially from AI, particularly for women and minorities. It’s anticipated that AI will play a pivotal role in improving health equity and in actively monitoring health equity.
• Personifying AI Therapists: AI therapists exist, but Dr. Lord mentions they’ll become highly personalized. Soon, users will not only choose who they want to converse with, but also their therapist’s areas of speciality.
• Some Fun Predictions: AI’s development won’t be purely utilitarian. Some of the interesting predictions include LLMs learning from each other and performing cultural tailoring. This means AI could write screenplays in English, then translate it for viewers in Japan, integrating not just the language, but also local cultural references. Additionally, AI relationships are set to grow, with virtual companions gaining popularity in society.
