Empowering Innovation: Celebrating Black History Month with a Dive into Tech’s Trailblazing Black Women
Black History Month is a dedicated time for recognizing the countless, and often unrecognized, contributions and achievements of Black Americans throughout history.
Our team acknowledges the critical importance of continuous education to sustain internal vigilance against unconscious biases–ensuring that we remain aware of, and actively work against, anti-Black racism. By actively seeking to learn more about Black innovators, we aim to broaden our perspectives and contribute to a more inclusive and aware workplace environment.
This month, our team is embarking on a challenge to share resources and pathways for education centered around Black innovators, artists, thinkers, and individuals who have significantly influenced our field. As a valuable resource, we recommend exploring the “Essential Books by Black Women in Tech”

Learning from Black innovators enhances creativity, reduces bias, improves product relevance, and contributes to the ethical and responsible development of AI technologies.
